Designer, Meropi Tourogiannis, was born and raised in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. She now runs her business in Chateau Christa - The House of Meropi Couture, Forest Hill.
As a child Meropi spent hours delving into her yia-yia's (Greek grandmother) fabric cupboard creating fashion shows of elaborate garments pinned onto her younger sister. |
In 2012, Meropi's Industrial Revolution inspired costume, was selected for the top designs 2013 exhibition. From this experience she then went onto studying at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University and at 21 she graduated from VCA, where she completed her BA of Production (costume).
